Channeling the music of her ancestors, 6th generation fiddler & bilingual singer Clare Sands weaves traditional roots with Contemporary sounds and influences to create a truly unique
sound. Described as ‘Hypnotic, tribal, and full of life’ (The Folk Show, BBC Radio 2) – 2022 saw the release of Clare’s highly anticipated self-titled album.

Channeling the music of her ancestors, Clare Sands is a unique force in Irish music. A sixth generation fiddler and bilingual singer, she weaves Traditional roots with Contemporary sounds and influences, embodying a fearless warrior-like spirit. By day, the award-winning artist has an ever evolving and extraordinary eclectic musical career, whilst by night, Sands is an open water swimmer and black belt, holding several world medals representing Ireland in martial arts!

Born and raised in Cork but with deep family roots in Co.Wexford and the North of Ireland, Sands took up the fiddle at the age of three, learning Irish traditional tunes from her father Seamus on a weekly basis, while her mother Susan introduced her to the Blues.  After school, Clare went on to study Music & Italian in UCC, and a Masters in Composition & Creative Practice at the Irish World Academy. While at university, Clare developed her skills as a bilingual songwriter, composer, and multi-instrumentalist, playing ten + instruments!

Sunset Soiree with Susan O'Neill


Susan from Ireland has spent the last few years honing her craft as a solo performer. A songwriter of hidden depths, with a timeless voice that is equal parts balm and blowtorch, she is audacity personified, a free spirit, a real performer.

Since the release of the critically acclaimed collaboration album with Mick Flannery ‘In The Game’, Susan has toured extensively across Europe and North America, performing both with Mick and solo on headline tours, festival stages, and as an invited guest to an array of artists including Phoebe Bridgers, Calexico, Jamie Cullum, Valerie June and The Teskey Brothers.

To make the evening even more special Bryan R Dalton will start the evening with a selection of his heartwarming folk songs.

Candlelit Soiree with Adele Oliver


Singer-songwriter, Adele Oliver, has a knack for transcribing life into song. Raised in the storied Kimberley, her Alt-Country sound is infused with its rugged essence.

Hosting songwriting workshops in outlying communities, Adele learned to connect with the land and its people. “I was incredibly inspired by the Martuwarra Fitzroy River, the Country, landscapes, and people of the Fitzroy Valley.” During her time in the Fitzroy Valley Adele wrote and released her Debut single ‘Don’t Take My Blues Away’ in 2019This was followed by her Debut E.P. ‘From the River’, a collection of songs inspired by living alongside the Martuwarra Fitzroy River recorded with Pete Grandison across two locations and released in 2021.
