The Yabu Band

Four time WAMI award winning Indigenous Australian rock and roots group, The Yabu Band was formed in the mid-90s in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. The word yabu is Wongutha – a western desert tribal language – for ‘rock’ or ‘gold.’ The Yabu Band’s performances can be described as dynamic & collaborative, as brothers Delson (vocals) and Boyd Stokes (guitar and vocals) are often joined in their performances by some of WA’s best musicians.

Set to release their long awaited EP A Cry in the Wind in early 2021, join us for a very special performance by one of WA’s most loved Indigenous acts.
