Well what an Exhibition we had !!

The week by far exceeded all expectations I had hoped for when putting together the idea. The quality of work on display was phenomenal! I knew that we had a lot of talent hiding in the Amateur Photographers space but wow I never expected such consistent quality and such creative interpretations, it was truly humbling on a personal level to have my work sharing the space with the quality of work on display. My personal highlight most certainly was seeing one of our exhibitors face light up when a member of the public, a complete stranger to them expressed their love for their photo within earshot of the exhibitor. That to me encapsulated the very reason why this exhibition existed, having our work seen and loved by the public.

Kidogo Arthouse- it’s History, the Art, the vibe, the staff & caliber of Musicians alone, make this by far my favourite venue in Fremantle. Magical sunsets, the train that passes by, the people, “home-cooked”meals on the deck while sipping wine, the sense of community.. Joanna’s love of bringing people together, especially in these times… hands down makes Kidogo Arthouse, the best venue.
