Walter McGuire will perform the smoking ceremony for this festival. This ceremony will be accompanied by traditional songs and their interpretations, sung in the local Nyungar dialect.

Husband & wife duo Walter & Meg McGuire Walter is a Nyungar man & Meg is a Kungarakan woman. Their collective experience across Indigenous health, employment, housing and education through formal education & careers in a variety of government, non-government and community programs and organisations render their team an excellent choice for delivery of cultural awareness training & ceremonies in diverse contexts.
