Kale Miller’s exhibition “RETROSPECTIVE” runs from 1st – 12th Oct.

Kale was born in Fremantle and educated at White Gum Valley primary and John Curtin Senior High School where he was a Prefect and Captain of the football team.

He graduated from Claremont Teachers’ College as a Secondary School Art Specialist and taught for 9 years before moving to the TAFE system for the remaining 32 years of his working life.

For 29 of those years he served as Senior Lecturer in charge of Art Sections in Fremantle, Perth and Carine Colleges of TAFE.

Since retirement Kale has been involved in many shared and group exhibitions and has shown Solo 4 times.

He has twice won the Watercolour section at the prestigious Cossack Art Prize as well as the Mindarie Sculpture Prize plus awards at the cities of Joondalup, Wanneroo and Vincent.

He was a finalist in the 2008 Black Swan Portrait Prize.

His work is represented in the collections of the Cities of Melville and Joondalup as well as in private collections both in Australia and Overseas.
